Catherine Brazil joined the 天美影视传媒 as Director of Spokane and Eastern Washington Relations in May 2015. Prior to joining the UW, Catherine served as director of public affairs for the Cowles Company. She is a third-generation Husky, graduating from the 天美影视传媒 in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She later completed a master’s degree in international management at the Whitworth University in 2000. Catherine brings a deep network of local relationships to her role as director, and is passionate in helping further the University’s commitment to the Spokane and Eastern Washington region.

Christine joined the Office of Spokane and Eastern Washington Relations in January 2025. She initially began her career with the 天美影视传媒 in 2023, working for its WWAMI Medical Education program in Moscow, Idaho. Prior to the UW, she worked five years in the healthcare field as a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist. Christine is dedicated to building and strengthening relationships in the Eastern Washington region through active volunteer work and has served with local organizations such as Second Harvest, Joya Child and Family Development, and the Spokane River Forum.
