A sampling of these groups and tools follow.

  • – A platform to enable researchers to easily and quickly launch mobile and web-based studies.
  • – Created as an open source medical record system platform. Currently is a worldwide network of volunteers building technology to support delivery of health care in resource-constrained environments.
  • – Tools and community for mobile health data. Platforms available to standardize data, share data, store data and integrate data from apps.
  • – Produces free and open-source software for collecting, managing and using mobile data in resource-constrained environments.
  • – A Seattle-based research organization offers support for mHealth studies through tools or partnerships. Particular expertise in using Apple’s ResearchKit. Developed tools for patient-centered consent in mobile clinical studies.
