He will present the fifth and final lecture Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in Kane Hall 110 on Read a recent UW Today about the 83-day expedition.
Delaney leads the Ocean Observatories Initiative team funded by the National Science Foundation to construct the world’s largest off the Washington and Oregon coasts. Made up of 575 miles of cable, the network will stream continuous live ocean and seafloor data onto the Internet, transforming the way scientists can study the ocean.
