The 天美影视传媒 was tied for 16th place among public universities for its undergraduate program in the most recent edition of America’s Best Colleges released today, Sept. 10, by U.S. News & World Report.
The UW was tied for 52nd overall among national universities both public and private. No other school in the Pacific Northwest was ranked among the top 100 national universities.
The magazine relies on 14 categories of information in its assessment:
- Assessment by administrators at peer institutions
- High school counselor assessment score
- Graduation and retention
- Freshman retention
- Actual graduation rate as compared with predicted rate
- Faculty resources
- Class size
- Student/faculty ratio
- Selectivity
- SAT/ACT scores
- Freshman in top 10 percent of high school class
- Acceptance rate
- Financial resources
- Alumni giving
