The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy announced in November that the UW School of Pharmacy is the winner of the 2010-11 Transformative Community Service Award. Stay informed and entertained with UW360
On December 1, don’t forget to tune in to channel 27 to catch the latest edition of UW 360, a half-hour magazine-style show profiling fascinating people and programs at the UW that are changing our world. Hosted by Samantha Rund, the program airs at 10 pm each Wednesday, with new episodes debuting the first week of each month. In December, viewers can meet the Husky Women鈥檚 Basketball team; tour campus with a visit to the salmon homing pond; take a look at a unique summer camp for students with disabilities; follow undergraduate oceanographers out onto Puget Sound; learn about a student project linked to earthquake relief in China; and experience a century of modern dance with performances by the Chamber Dance Company.
