Did you know?

The Quad鈥檚 signature Yoshino cherry trees are about 90 years old and were originally set in a grove at the Washington Park Arboretum. In 1962, the University transplanted the trees to their current spot, bringing thousands of visitors to campus each spring to witness their rosy bloom.

2026 U District Cherry Blossom Festival

The fifth annual U District Cherry Blossom Festival returns March 13鈥�29. Explore cherry- and blossom-themed food, drink and retail specials across the neighborhood at over 80 participating businesses.
