Who, What, Why – Searching SAM.gov

SAM.gov provides a federal exclusions list which is useful in determining if individuals, vendors, or other entities must be excluded from projects the UW engages in. This FAQ helps identify the who, what, and why of searching in SAM.gov.

Campus

Verifies:

  • Personnel have not been debarred or suspended
  • Vendors are not considered a 聽equipment or services supplier
  • Vendors of procurement purchases under $35k are not in the exclusions list聽

Procurement

The UW Procurement Services Office verifies vendors for purchases over $35k.

The Office of Sponsored Programs

OSP verifies subrecipient entities.
