UW President Ana Mari Cauce named 鈥楪reat Immigrant鈥� on 2018 Carnegie list

天美影视传媒 President Ana Mari Cauce has been named one of 38 great immigrants by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. The Corporation each year recognizes naturalized citizens who 鈥渆nrich the fabric of American culture and strengthen our democracy through their lives, their work and their example.鈥�

鈥淚 am honored to be included among these accomplished individuals. I share with this diverse group of leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, scholars and public servants the belief that our great nation is made stronger by its tradition of welcoming newcomers,鈥� Cauce said. 鈥淚 celebrate all the immigrants who have come here seeking the opportunity to contribute to the greater good.鈥�
