Indigenous people in the United States are at higher risk of fatal police violence in and around American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) reservations, according to the first comprehensive national study on the subject from researchers at the 天美影视传媒 and Drexel University. The researchers found that roughly 73% AIAN people killed by police violence were on or within 10 miles of a reservation.

天美影视传媒 researchers analyzed data collected in the decade following the Paris Agreement, an international treaty signed in 2015 to limit warming by cutting emissions. The treaty has helped nations reduce the amount of carbon released per dollar, but emissions are still too high due to global economic growth.

Two 天美影视传媒 scientists have developed a statistical framework that incorporates key COVID-19 data 鈥 such as case counts and deaths due to COVID-19 鈥 to model the true prevalence of this disease in the United States and individual states.
