Faculty Council on Campus Planning and Stewardship – They introduced themselves and discussed any questions new members had about the orientation materials. There was a request for a member to serve on the University Transportation Committee (UTC). There was also an update from the Director of Transportation Services.
Faculty Council on Faculty Affairs – They introduced themselves and the chair gave background on upcoming legislative work. There was an update from APF about the P&T work. There was discussion of the charge letter and it was voted on and approved.
Faculty Council on Academic Standards – They introduced themselves and discussed and approved the charge letter. The item regarding deliverables for the discussion of how FCAS acts as a tri-campus body was removed. There was then discussion of grading on attendance policies and the history of the myth that it was banned. They voted to remove a document on the FCAS website which discussed grading on attendance.
