New temporary detour in Burke Gilman Trail through campus

Beginning Wednesday, May 14, UW Transportation Services advises that there will be a in the Burke-Gilman trail detour already in place for the Montlake Triangle project, which will eventually provide access for pedestrians and bicyclists from the light rail station at Husky Stadium to the foot of Rainier Vista.

An artwalk covering 140 pieces of unique art will be held from 5:30 – 7 pm tonight, May 6, at . The art was created by UW students, faculty, staff, and alumni and some pieces have been nationally recognized.
